Christmas celebrated with joy and devotion at Bajjodi
Dec.24th: Christmas is a time for sharing and friendship. It was celebrated with devotion and gusto at Infant Mary Church Bajjodi. The festal Eucharistic celebration was held at 7.30pm and parishioners gathered at the church for the Holy Mass in Konkani which was concelebrated by Parish Priest Fr. Shabas Crasta. Asst. Priest Fr. Ivan D’souza was the main celebrant.

Parish Priest Fr. Shabas Crasta in his homily, exhorted the faithful to follow in the path of Jesus Christ and said that, "The present situation in the world is very bad. Hatred has spread among people. We must do only good deeds, only then can we live a happy life. What is the point in life if we do not follow what God wants from us? He loves everyone. It does not mean we should become selfish. Let us make this world a selfless one by following Jesus."

After the mass auction, housie and ward wise Santa Show was held in the parish grounds. All the people exchanged Christmas wishes with each other. The Christmas joy was shared by distributing Christmas cake to all the faithful. There were around 800 people who witnessed the celebration.

May Jesus who was born in the manger come to the lives of all the faithful in this Holy Christmas season!
