Sadbhavana Day at Pushpashrama
December 25, 2016 on the day of Christmas, the community of
Pushpashrama along with the neighbors of the vicinity celebrated
the ‘Sadbhavana Day’ at the college auditorium. This was the day
to celebrate and to share the joy, peace and love of the Infant
Jesus with the non-Christian brethren who lived in and around
Ranithota. The day commenced at 4-30pm with the prayer song. Rev
Fr Alfred Menezes, rector of Pushpashrama laid a red-carpet
welcome to all the neighbors. Fr Vijay D’ Costa, the chief guest
in his speech explained the mystery of Incarnation where God is
taking the form of a human person to live among the people. At
the same time he invited all to experience the peace and love of
Jesus in their personal as well as family lives. The cultural
event was the combination of dances and songs which were
performed by the play home kids, neighboring school children,
college students, religious sisters and also the brothers of
Pushpashrama. Large number of neighbors witnessed the
celebration and were entertained by the cultural bonanza and
shared the Christmas joy with each other. Towards the end of
programme all were given Christmas sweets which became a
platform to share the common brotherhood and sisterhood with
each other. Thus the Sadbhavana Day became a podium to share the
Christmas joy with our non-Christian brethren.
