“All for You and nothing for me”. Choosing these words of St. John of the Cross our beloved Holy Father, 11 youngsters gladly received the Holy habit of our Order on 14th December 2016. Truly they gave all of theirs to Jesus as they pronounced loudly their vows and there by renounced 3 created goods of life Viz. Marital Life, Material Security and Adult Autonomy.

Fr. Provincial who presided over the Solemn Eucharist lauded the brothers’ courage as he preached a moving Homily on the St. John of the Cross’s love for suffering and its relation to 3 vows and their witnessing value today. The tiny sanctuary and the Chapel of Tapovana were too small to contain around 45 con-celebrants and about 180 people. Fr. Arun Lobo steered the well organized liturgy. The Mass and the entire ceremony was celestial and awe-inspiring.

It was one more jubilant day for 15 OCDS members who proudly joined hands and hearts to organize the day. The delicious meal with a delicate touch of Philomena’s (Kudige) hands added further pomp to the memorable day.
