Celebration of Queen Beauty of Carmel at Mira Road
The Solemnity of Our Lady of Mount Carmel was celebrated with great devotion at St. Joseph Church, Mira Road, on July 16, 2024. The Holy Mass was presided over by Rev. Fr. Pius James D'Souza, OCD, Definitor General. During the service, Fr. Pius delivered a moving homily on the theme of "The Beauty of Carmel."

The Mass also marked the annual devotional renewal of promises by the members of the Secular Order of Discalced Carmelites (OCDS). Following the spiritual service, the community enjoyed a vibrant cultural program organized by the OCDS. The event included the felicitation of newly professed OCDS members and concluded with an agape, fostering fellowship and unity among the participants.
