A New Dawn in Holistic Spirituality: Inauguration of the Spirituality Course at Dhyanavana : (28th Batch: 2024-2025)
On Sunday, June 30, 2024, the Holistic Spirituality Course at Dhyanavana was officially inaugurated by Rev. Dr. Alphonse Britto, OCD – the Provincial Councilor for Spirituality. The ceremony was also graced by Rev. Fr. Joachim Rodrigues, OCD – the Provincial Councilor for Social Apostolate.

The inaugural Mass saw participation from several community Fathers, including Rev. Dr. Rathan Almeida, the Director; Fr. Augustine Robert, the Dean of Studies; Fr. Rakesh Parmar, the Administrator; along with Friars from the Pushpashrama and Dhyana Sadhana communities, and numerous religious sisters from the vicinity.

More than 30 sisters have registered for the course, with more expected to join later.

The day was particularly special as it coincided with the birthday of Fr. Augustine Robert, the Dean of Studies. Heartfelt birthday greetings and good wishes were bestowed upon Fr. Augustine by all present.

We pray that the sisters who have entered the portals of Dhyanavana may be filled with the spirit of the Lord to become beacons of light as they undergo the nine-month intensive course in Spirituality. May the Lord guide the staff and professors who will be enlightening the sisters on various spiritual subjects.
