News from St. Joseph's Church Mira Road
21st of June was the happiest day for St. Joseph's Church Mira Road as five of the newly ordained priests celebrated their first masses in the parish for the first time. Rev. Fr. Pawan Saldanha who is presently working as the secretary to the bishop of Gulbarga presided over the solemn eucharist while Fr. Noel D'Cunha who is presently serving as the Rector of the minor seminary in Gujrath broke the Word of God. Rev. Fr. Augustine Robert, presently rendering his services in Fatima Retreat Centre, Fr. Antony Stephen, presently working in Dhyanashrama, Vasai, and Fr. Arun Bennis, serving in our mission station at Gulbarga concelebrated. After the mass Rev. Fr. Melvin D'Cunha felicitated the newly ordained and honoured them with a bouquet of flowers. The whole parish community blessed them and wished them all the very best.
