CARMEL KUTAM CELEBRATES FAITH IN BANGALORE

Carmel Kutam, Bangalore celebrated the closing of the Year of Faith on Sunday, 24 Nov. at Sadbhavana, Carmelite Provincialate, Bangalore.

The day began with the retreat preached by renowned preacher, Fr. Wilfred Frank, ocd. Then the statue of the Immaculate Heart of Mary was brought in procession by the Brothers of the Heralds of the Gospel. In the evening Fr. Archibald Gonsalves, the Carmelite Provincial presided over the Eucharist along with other priests. Then Whitsun Wallow Band entertained the gathering by their melodious singing of traditional Konkani folk songs. Hundreds of Mangalorean Catholics attended this event and carried home happy memories. The office bearers of Carmel Kutam, Mr. Dolfy D’Cunha-President, Mr. Edwin D’Souza-Secretary and other members along with Fr. Vinod Lobo their Spiritual Director made it a memorable day.
