How Wonderful! Little Ones come to worship the Lord!
Here again at St. Aloysius Parish, Kitchener, ON, Canada, the little children attended 11am Sunday Mass on October, 30, 2016. The church was almost full of kids and their parents and parishioners. More than 30 kids participated in this Children Mass. The liturgy was led and assisted by the kids from St. Aloysius School, which is very close to the parish. The efforts of Fr. Jerome Mascarenhas and Fr. Roshan D’Souza in training these kids in the school did bear much fruit in the form of participation at the Mass. Fr. Roshan presided over this mass and reached out to the kids through his creative homily on the story of Zacchaeus and Jesus’ love for him, comprised of action song and a little enactment. After the mass the kids had “Trick or Treat” of the Halloween Day. It was indeed an active, full and meaningful celebration!
