Workshop for Parents Held at Londa
LONDA: Holy Family Church Londa organised one day workshop for the parents on 27th November, 2016. Br Malvino Alfonso OCD was the resource person for the day. Fr. Anthony D’souza, Parish Priest of Holy Family Church and Superior of Carmel Nivas, Londa welcomed the gathering and explained the importance of the workshop.

The resource person focused on the different types of parenting styles and helped the participants to identify their style of parenting. Explaining the different techniques of parenting he stressed on the importance of listening and helped them to refute irrational beliefs. Dealing with various cases in case study session, Br. Alfonso gave practical tips to enrich the parenthood.

Ms. Roopa Usapkar, Ms. Valentina Pereira and Ms Fatima Fernandes shared their experiences on behalf of the participants. Fr. Anthony D’souza thanked 51 participants for their active and lively participation. The Workshop concluded with the Eucharistic celebration.
