Bonded by Generosity: OCDS Community’s Mission Sale
The Our Lady of Mt. Carmel OCDS Community in Margao held a lively and successful mission sale on October 27, 2024, bringing together community spirit and generosity for a meaningful cause. Proceeds from the sale will support the Carmelite community in Kushalnagara and assist the sick and needy in Goa.

The church compound was alive with excitement as tables overflowed with colourful handmade crafts, delicious baked goods, savoury treats, and an assortment of unique plants. The aroma of freshly baked delicacies filled the air, drawing eager crowds to the snack tables. Visitors were welcomed by OCDS members with warm smiles and guided through the many offerings, each item carrying a story shared enthusiastically by those who had crafted or donated them.

Throughout the day, a strong sense of companionship united attendees, creating a beautiful atmosphere of connection and purpose. The event not only raised significant funds for mission outreach programs but also strengthened community bonds, embodying the congregation’s spirit of collaboration and support.
