First Communion at Our Lady of Loretto Church, South Africa
It was a day of jubilation and celebration as 32 children of Our Lady of Loretto Church received the Lord Jesus in the Eucharist for the first time in their lives. Fr. Peter Rebello presided over the solemn Eucharistic celebration and preached a suitable homily. There were around 250 people who witnessed the celebration. Fr. Peter expressed the sentiments of gratefulness for the selfless service of Mrs Ann Morrow, the catechism coordinator and Mr Mark Morrow and Zacky, the catechism teachers. After the mass some sweets and snacks were provided by the CWL ladies of the parish to share the joy of the children.
