Centennial of Love: Little Flower Monastery
Honors St. Thérèse
The Community of Little Flower Monastery joyfully celebrated the
Centennial year of St. Therese of the Child Jesus on Sunday, 28th
September, at 10.30 AM. The celebration began with the Holy
Eucharist, attended by approximately fifty members of the
Congregation.
Fr. Vincent Dsouza was the principal celebrant. He delivered a warm
and memorable introduction before the mass, graciously welcoming all
the attendees. The homily was preached by Fr. Mario Fernandes, who
offered a deep and meaningful reflection on the theme: Living the
Love of God in small acts in the ‘little way.’ In his homily, he
emphasized the virtues of St. Therese and how her spiritual journey
was inspired by various saints, calling the congregation to find
their inspiration in this saint of the modern times!
Following the mass, the community gathered for a potluck meal,
generously contributed by the families who attended the celebration.
