B'day of Fr. Rudy celebrated
On Monday July 27, 2015, all the friars around Vancouver came together at St. Edmund’s to celebrate the birthday of beloved Fr. Rudolf D’Souza, Regional Superior of Canada Region. Fr. Jerald D’Souza organized the event and wished him well.

He also thanked Fr. Rudy for his initiative in the Canada Region. He reminded friars about Fr. Rudy’s hard, dedicated and committed work at Carmel Hill. Fr. Rudy is a blessing to the Region and in turn he is a blessing to the Province, a blessing to all the Carmelite friars and Mother Church, he exclaimed.

Fr. Steny Mascarenhas, Pastor of St. Anthony of Padua Church, Agassiz prepared a delicious meal. Fr. Rajesh Madtha, chaplain of St. Paul’s Hospital, wished Fr. Rudy with a bouquet of flowers on behalf of everyone present. Br. Josef Giroux also joined in the celebration. Long live Fr. Rudy. We are proud of you
