Konkani Manyatha Divas celebrated with an Antique Exhibition at Infant Mary Parish, Bajjodi
'Konkani Manyatha Divas’ is the inclusion of Konkani as an official language in the Eighth schedule of Indian Constitution in 1992.

Infant Mary Parish organized an Exhibition of collection of age old items at Infant Mary Church hall on August 21st 2022, on the occasion of Konkani Manyatha Divas.

An exhibition of antiques was inaugurated at Infant Mary Church hall on Sunday, the 21st of August 2022, at 8am with the beating of the Gumott instrument wherein children and parishioners were present. All the catechism children were given the explanation of all the items and their uses thereafter.

The exhibition included 250 displays of antiques and magazines. Children and parishioners expressed their views and appreciation on the display of the collection of antiques used by our forefathers which brings back childhood memories.
