Golden Birthday Celebration of Rev. Fr. Lancy Lewis
The Pushpashrama community, with immense joy and gratitude to God, celebrated the 50th birthday of Rev. Fr. Lancy Lewis with great solemnity and festivity. Marking this golden milestone in his life, the community came together to thank the Lord for the gift of his person, his priesthood, and his dedicated service to formation. The celebration commenced with a solemn Holy Eucharist, during which heartfelt prayers of thanksgiving were offered for Fr. Lancy.
In the evening, the community gathered once again for a felicitation programme. Fathers from the Mysore region joined the celebration, making the occasion more memorable and fraternal. The Rector, in his address, warmly appreciated Fr. Lancy for his unwavering dedication, generous sacrifice, and love for the ministry of formation. In response, Fr. Lancy expressed his deep gratitude to God, to the Pushpashrama community, and to all confreres who journey with him in faith and mission.
The evening celebration concluded with a sumptuous festive meal, shared in an atmosphere of joy, fraternity, and thanksgiving. The golden jubilee of Fr. Lancy’s birth thus became not only a moment of personal gratitude but also a celebration of God’s fidelity and the richness of community life.
