Fr Adarsh ascends the Altar of the Lord
23rd January 2021 was a great day of rejoicing for the Karnataka Goa Province. Dn Adarsh Pedru Rodrigues was ordained priest in his native parish Our Lady of Fatima in Molkod, Honnavar by Most Rev. Dr. Derek Fernandes, Bishop of Belgaum and the Apostolic Administrator of the Diocese of Karwar. Fr. Adarsh is the second Carmelite priest from the Diocese of Karwar. There were 85 concelebrants and a large number of faithful who witnessed the Ordination rite. The Eucharist was followed by a short felicitation programme. Fr Ajith Rodrigues, Superior of Stella Maris was the Master of Ceremonies. Fr Pius James D’Souza, Provincial felicitated the new priest on behalf of the Province and thanked all the formators and benefactors who had assisted him in his formative years. Fr Adarsh expressed his gratitude towards all who had helped him ascend the altar. The entire KG Province thanks God for Fr Adarsh and wishes him joy and blessing in his priestly ministry.
