A Place Made Beautiful for God at Belur
The newly renovated Chapel at Carmel Home, Belur, was solemnly blessed by the Very Rev. Fr. Silvestre D’Souza OCD, Provincial Superior on 24 December 2025. The joyful occasion was marked by the presence of the Carmel Home community, the Holy Cross Sisters, and the parishioners who regularly participate in the daily Holy Mass.

Rev. Fr. Provincial presided over and officiated the celebration of the Holy Eucharist. Following the Mass, breakfast was lovingly served to all those present, fostering a spirit of fellowship and gratitude.

The chapel now stands renewed in beauty—serene, prayerful, and deeply conducive to silence and contemplation. All who wish to spend time in prayer or make a private retreat are most welcome to experience this sacred space.
