Scapular Feast @ Pushpashrama
The Solemnity of our Lady of Mount Carmel, popularly known as the Scapular feast was celebrated at Infant Jesus Shrine Pushpashrama, Mysuru on 16th July 2023. The solemn Holy Eucharist was presided over by Rev Fr Rathan D’ Almeida OCD, the Director of Dhyanavana Institute of Spirituality. Rev Fr Oswald Crasta OCD, the Rector, in his homily, invited everyone to ‘stand before the Lord’ and to experience God after the example of Prophet Elijah and Mother Mary. During the Holy Eucharist, four MSI sisters and 3 CMC sisters from Dhyanavana renewed their vows, and 11 new members were welcomed to the Secular Carmel (OCDS). At the end of the mass, scapulars were blessed and distributed to everyone.
