St. Stephen’s Catholic Church Launches New
Parish Website
St. Stephen’s Catholic Church, Cayuga, Canada a
vibrant parish entrusted to the Discalced
Carmelite Friars of the Canadian Delegation of
the Karnataka-Goa Province, marked a significant
milestone on Pentecost Sunday with the launch of
its brand-new website.
Following the Solemn Celebration of the Holy
Eucharist, the new digital platform was
officially unveiled by the generous benefactors
of the parish, Mr. Walter and Mrs. Magdalena.
The website, www.ststephenchurchcayuga.com, has
been designed and developed by Fr. Stephen Lobo,
OCD. With a modern and user-friendly interface,
the site serves as a comprehensive hub for
parishioners and visitors alike. It offers easy
access to information about Mass timings,
sacraments, parish ministries, announcements,
upcoming events, and various activities of the
parish.
More than just a communication tool, the new
website is a digital doorway to the spiritual
and communal life of St. Stephen’s Parish. It
strengthens the connection between the Church
and the faithful, and links the local community
with the Universal Church.
In today’s world, where technology plays a
central role in daily life, this online presence
allows the parish to remain accessible,
informative, and welcoming to all — whether
long-time members, newcomers, or those simply
exploring the Catholic faith.
With this initiative, St. Stephen’s continues
its mission of evangelization and pastoral care,
now empowered by the digital means that bring
people closer to Christ and to one another.
