Carmel Festival at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Shrine, Benoni
As a continuation of the Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, the shrine in Benoni successfully celebrated the Carmel Festival on Sunday, July 13, 2025. The festival brought together members of the community in a joyous expression of faith and fellowship.

The day began with the Holy Eucharist presided over by Fr. Rayan Pais, the Superior and Rector of the shrine, assisted by Fr. Kaushik Parmar and two deacons, Dn. Keith and Dn. Neelan. The Mass commenced at 9 AM, during which the scapulars were blessed and distributed to the faithful, reinforcing the spiritual significance of the day.

Following the Mass, the community celebration of the Carmel Festival took off with great enthusiasm. The atmosphere was lively and filled with joy, as families and friends gathered to partake in the festivities. A variety of food stalls were set up, offering delicious treats, while additional stalls showcased toys and cosmetics, adding to the festive spirit.

Various artists performed throughout the day, entertaining the crowd with music and performances that delighted attendees. The participation was remarkable, with a substantial number of community members engaging in this fun-filled gathering, making it a wonderful occasion for socializing and family celebrations.
