At the end of the Mass, the Superior , Fr. Alexandre

introduced the regent, Br. Ashwath D’Souza, who would be
part of the community in the coming year. He thanked the
teachers who selflessly render their services in teaching
our brothers the nuances of the English language. Finally,
he expressed his gratitude to all the people who frequent
our Chapel and support us in various ways.
On behalf of the Province, Fr. Silvestre D’Souza, thanked
all the benefactors who extended their mite to renovate the
section of the students in the monastery, so that it is more
comfortable for their stay. It was also an occasion to
felicitate, Fr. Ashwin D’Silva, our newly ordained priest,
who began his journey to Priesthood in Mapusa 13 years ago.
Coincidentally, while at present, he is the youngest priest
in the province, we had in our midst also the senior most
priest – Fr. Paul D’Souza (57 years a priest!). May God be
praised!
