74th Birthday celebration of Rev. Fr. Patrick Lobo
Bajjodi: The 74th birthday of Rev. Fr. Patrick Lobo was celebrated on Thursday 14th March. 2019. Fr. Patrick celebrated Eucharistic Mass at 6 pm for which parishioners were present in large numbers. The Parish priest Fr Ivan Dsouza con celebrated the mass and preached the Homily. Rev. Fr. Ivan Dsouza in his message said that Fr. Patrick was a prayerful person and has been a blessing to the parish and all those he has been acquainted with and thus called for a special thanksgiving for Gods abundant blessings on Fr. Patrick in all these years.

The mass was followed by a stage programme in the mini hall. The Parish council Secretary Mrs. Irene Pinto welcomed the gathering. The parish choir team sang a song that was dedicated to Fr. Patrick on his birthday followed by cutting of the cake by Fr. Patrick Lobo. The Parish Council Vice President Joseph Mascarenhas spoke a few words about Fr. Patrick and thanked him for all the love and service he has been giving to the parish and the parishioners. Rev Fr. Ivan Dsouza too spoke a few words on how well Fr. Patrick had gelled with the parishioners with his love n concern through his visits every evening to families and the sick. He said that Fr. Patrick was a soft spoken person and has won the hearts of all the parishioners. Rev Fr. Patrick later thanked the gathering for the love they showered on him and that he was touched to see so many people partake in the celebration. He thanked the parishioners for their love and constant support. The stage programme was compered by Mrs Irene Pinto.

Mrs Irene Pinto proposed the vote of thanks after which the different associations of the parish came up to wish Fr. Patrick.

Refreshments were served to all gathered for the celebration.
