Courses and Retreats at Carmel Hill, Vancouver

The Carmel Hill Spirituality Centre, Vancouver continues to serve as a harbour for those seeking spiritual enlightenment and growth. In the past week, two distinct groups have engaged in transformative experiences at Carmel Hill, under the guidance of Superior Fr. Vincent D'souza and Director Fr. Mario Fernandes.

Scripture Course (5 Days):
A group of individuals embarked on a five-day intensive course focused on the study and exploration of Scripture from March 4-9, 2024. Led by knowledgeable instructors, participants delved into the depths of biblical teachings, gaining insights into the biblical texts. Through talks, discussions, and reflective exercises, attendees deepened their understanding of the Word and its relevance to their lives.

Retreat (6 Days):
Simultaneously, another group engaged in a six-day retreat aimed at spiritual renewal and introspection from March 11-16, 2024. Immersed in the tranquil surroundings of Carmel Hill, participants embarked on a journey of self-discovery and contemplation. Guided by experienced Carmelite priests, individuals had the opportunity to disconnect from the distractions of daily life and reconnect with their inner selves. Through prayer, meditation, and silent reflection, attendees found solace and renewal amidst the serene atmosphere of the center.
