Seminar on Eucharist at Carmel Ashram, Koteshwar
A seminar was held on 3rd of October 2021 at Carmel Ashram Katkere, Koteshwar on the theme “Eucharist is the source and Summit of Christian Life”. Fr. Dr. Rudolf Raj Pinto was the resource person. The representatives of Pastoral Commissions of Bible and Liturgy belonging to Kundapur deanery were the participants. All in all, there were 40 participants: 30 representatives from 6 parishes, 6 OCDS members and 4 priests. Deanery Coordinator for Bible and Liturgy Commissions, Fr. Alwyn Sequeira welcomed the gathering and thanked all at the end of the seminar. Fr. Francis Bartholomew supervised the logistics, Fr. Cyril presented a memento to the resource person and Fr. Deep compered the program. Meals were served at noon. The seminar was conducted in consultation with the Udupi Diocesan Coordinator Fr. Stephen D Souza and the Kundapur deanery priests. Fr. Rudolf explained the theology of the Eucharist in the forenoon session and parts of Mass in the afternoon session. Participants expressed their satisfaction and requested for more of such informative seminars in the future.
