FEAST OF THE PATRONESS OF THE MISSIONARIES IN THE ETERNAL CITY
October 1, 2014: The Carmelites of Scala Communitytogether with the priest students in Rome solemnized the feast of St Therese of Child Jesus, patroness of the Missionaries. The entire community assembled around the table of the Lord at 6-30pm to solemnize this feast through the celebration of the Eucharist. Rev Fr Edwin presided over the celebration and preached a meaningful homily. After the mass the roses were blessed and distributed to all the people along with a souvenir. Later the faithful congregated around the image of St Therese where a short prayer was conducted and then final blessing was given. The culmination of the feast was the fellowship dinner shared by all the community fathers.
