Province Day at Sadbhavana
The feast of the Patroness of our Province (Province Day) was celebrated in Sadbhavana at 6:30 on the 7th of October with all Solemnity. Rev. Fr. Xavier E. Manavath, the Episcopla Vicar for the Religious in Bangalore Diocese presided over the Eucharist. Rev. Fr. Provincial, the Councilors and all the superiors of our Province along with the priests of our neighboring communities concelebrated the festive Eucharist. Sisters, Friends, Benefactors and well wishers joined in our celebration. The well prepared liturgy by Fr. Lawrence D’Cunha and the angelic Choir from Hegdenagar Parish helped everyone to raise their hearts and minds to God and thank the patroness for her patronage. After the Eucharist all gathered in the refectory for a monastic meal. Rev. Fr. George Santhumayor congratulated the Fr. Gerald D’Souza, the delegate Superior of Sadbhavana on his Silver Jubilee of Religious Profession with his grateful words followed by a felicitation with a flower bouquet and shawl by Rev. Fr. Provincial. Rev. Fr. Joseph Menezes, the Parish Priest of Rajajinagar prayed grace before the meal.
